Glider Bookings
Please read the following before making your booking.
- The Darling Downs Soaring Club requires that pilots reserving club aircraft meet minimum currency
and endorsement requirements.
- If an aircraft is not needed for the whole day please use the shared booking facility
and add a booking note giving an approximate time when the glider is to be used so that other members are informed.
In the event of a dispute the earliest booking made will have priority.
- Booking the same aircraft for consecutive days, is not permitted, except under special circumstances, and has previously been arranged with the CFI.
- Booking aircraft for competitions, or for extended time periods must be done through the CFI in writing or email, and approved by the Committee. Once approved, one of the booking administrators will enter it on to the booking system.
- Your reservation details will be stored online for reference and record keeping. Personal information like contact details are held in confidence.
- If you booked an aircraft and are not on the field by
10:00am, the booking lapses and the first person on the field who expresses
interest to the duty pilot may take the booking.
