Welcome to the Darling Downs Soaring Club Mailing List.

We have two mailing lists. The chat mailing list and the car pool mailing list. The chat mailing list is for general information. The carpool mailing list is intended for members who want to make car pooling arrangements.

These mailing lists are open to all club members. Once you have subscribed to a mailing list you can send an e-mail to everyone on the list without having to know their e-mail address. If you are not subscribed to the list you can not send an e-mail to the list.

Once subscribed you can send your message to the list by sending an e-mail to chat@ddsc.org.au for chat and carpool@ddsc.org.au for the car pool.

Your message will then be sent to everyone on the list, including you. You will know when you receive an e-mail from others on the list when the e-mail in your inbox has the prefix [chat] or [carpool] followed by the subject of the e-mail.

Conditions of Use

• Emails are to be limited to club activities or related things of aviation interest.
• No individual is to be mentioned unless in the context of club achievements or business.
• Private one-to-one, or one-to-many are not to be forwarded on to the chat unless it is in the interests of all members.
• Nobody shall send emails purporting to represent another member.
• Large file attachments are not permitted, and care must be exercised in attaching any files.
• It is preferable to put links to web addresses, rather than attach files or pictures.
• The member username and password are not to be circulated on chat.
• Practical jokes are not permitted; good humour is.
