The Jimbour Wines Queensland State Gliding Championships are being held at McCaffrey Field and hosted by the Darling Downs Soaring Club.

How To Get Here

From Brisbane/Toowoomba - head west along the Warrego highway. Approximately 10km past Jondaryan you'll pass the turnoff (Mason Road) to the Darling Downs Soaring Club on your left which is marked as "Gliding fields" on a brown sign.

From NSW/Goondiwindi - Travel North along the Leichardt highway [39] to Moonie and then turn east onto the Moonie highway toward Dalby. At Dalby, continue into town until the lights of the Warrego highway intersection. Turn right on to the Warrego Highway towards Toowoomba. About 5km past Bowenville you'll come to the turnoff for Darling Downs Soaring Club (Mason Road), marked "gliding fields" on a brown sign. Please note that there is a culvert just before the turnoff, be careful not to turn into it.
