The outdoor temperature / dew point graph is a
useful tool for glider pilots. Cloudbase (in feet) can be roughly
calculated by taking the dew point temperature from the outdoor
temperature and multiplying the result by 400. |

A rising barometer indicates increasingly more
stable conditions. A falling barometer indicates incresingly less
stable conditions and the possibility of deteriorating weather
conditions (rain and storms). |
